The Dashanzi Art District, a.k.a. the 798 Art Zone, in Beijing, is an enclave of Bauhaus-style factories-turned-galleries and workshops. It’s also a pedestrian-friendly haven of café culture, political commentary and, yes, fashionable hipsters, both local and foreign.

This place is FANTASTIC!!! It was one of the highlights of our trip and to think I hadn't heard of it before reading this article.........EVERYONE should go..an AMAZING area............
