150+ Rooms
Sparkling Hill Resort, Vernon, B.C.
Design: Jennifer Kurtz, Shauna Root, Gerry Shinkewski and Susan Steeves (SSDG Interiors Inc.)

It’s fair to say that a hotel with a spa measuring some 40,000 square feet takes wellness seriously. At Sparkling Hill’s KurSpa, you can pick from more than 100 different treatments administered against a backdrop of soothing white that’s highlighted with sparkly Swarovski crystals and warm woods. The designers divvied the spa into smaller cocoon-like areas for thermal baths, relaxation rooms and saunas, including a cold sauna set at -110 °C. Now that’s what we call chilling out.
