The art deco building was redesigned as a five-star hotel in 2014, but a nod to its days as a rave venue remains, with a graffiti-tagged convertible Rolls-Royce parked in the lobby.

What we loved Diving into the two restored pools, which originally opened in 1929 and were the most popular swimming baths in the city until closing in 1989.

Order a mai-tai-inspired tikinut cocktail on the rooftop deck, with views of the Eiffel Tower in the distance.

Walk to Roland-Garros Stadium, home of the French Open, in just 10 minutes.
