Woods Hole Inn

Woods Hole, Massachusetts

This Cape Cod inn, steps from the Martha's Vineyard ferry landing, was built in 1887 but has been revamped with modern furnishings like glass rain showers.

What we loved Scanning the names on the wallpaper made from authentic guest registration cards dating back to the 1880s, when the inn was known as the Avery House.

If you only have one night Grab a bite at Quicks Hole Taqueria, located on the first floor of the inn; try the fresh lobster taco or the sweet Baja shrimp bowl.

Bonus The inn is the original home of the iconic Red Chair, which has journeyed to over 205 inns and B&Bs across 23 states.
