Agustín Hernández Navarro’s Taller de Arquitectura (this page and following page) wouldn’t look out of place on the set of Avatar. His geometric live-work space teeters on top of a plinth dug into a slope, proving why the architect is a pillar of Mexican Modernism. He likes building on hills that are sometimes so steep, the workers have to use climbing gear.
