Lauren Belanger grew up in Montreal, but she can currently be found cycling the streets of Toronto. Having mainly worked in post-production, her passion for storytelling has recently led her into the new territory of directing. Her previous short film, Oxford (2015), had its debut at the Atlantic Film Festival last year, and she continues her unintentional trend of working with children and animals in her latest film, Nothing Grows Here.
Frida Jenkins-Roe is a Toronto-based producer, with interests in both narrative and documentary film. Most notably, she produced the documentary short Fatherhood, directed by Alicia Harris, which screened at festivals worldwide and won the Royal Reel Award at the Canada International Film Festival in 2015.
