Plunge into the World’s Most Stunning Hotel Pools

You can totally judge a hotel by its pool. From Los Cabos to the Amalfi Coast, here are some of our favourite spots to take a dip.

Amangiri, Utah

Derived from the Sanskrit words for “peaceful mountain,” Amangiri is a resort nestled within the raw natural beauty of southern Utah’s Grand Circle region. Lounge on a white daybed by the main swimming pool, which surrounds an ancient rock formation. For the ultimate in relaxation, head to the Water Pavilion, where you’ll find a sauna, a steam room and a romantically lit step pool complete with desert views.

Molitor, Paris

Molitor, Paris

Once the most stylish swimming pool in Paris – the bikini made its debut here in 1946 – the art deco icon closed in 1989 and fell into disrepair as a haven for the city’s underground scene in the 1990s. It reopened in 2014 as a hotel, and the pool was restored to its former glory, down to the original yellow and blue colour scheme. Some street art remains throughout the property – a nod to the venue’s former rave days.
