Prince Harry's Picks for the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto

Score tickets for these events at this year's Invictus Games, presented by Jaguar Land Rover.

Prince Harry

Prepare to get pumped up (and maybe feel like you should hit the gym) as the Invictus Games roll into Toronto this month. Over 550 wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans will go head-to-head in swimming, volleyball, golf — on the docket for the first time — and more in this third and biggest year yet for the travelling sports event. We asked Prince Harry, Patron of the Invictus Games Foundation, which events to score tickets for.

There are two types of races to watch: the Time Trial, in which cyclists race to finish the 11-kilometre course as quickly as possible, and the Criterium, a mass-start race with all the competitors going head to head, culminating in an incredible sprint finish on the final lap! Both events will be tactical, nerve-wracking and exhilarating.

Wheelchair rugby

Wheelchair Rugby

Get ready to hear the sound of metal crunching and clanging as competitors smash into each other in reinforced wheelchairs, often knocking one another out of their seats, while the crowds roar from the packed stands. Fast, aggressive and a lot of fun – wheelchair rugby isn’t nicknamed “murderball” for nothing.

Indoor Rowing

The indoor setting creates a gladiatorial atmosphere that allows you to see the competitors up close on rowing machines, pushing their minds and bodies to their absolute limits to produce some of the most intense races I’ve ever watched. It’s also fascinating to see how they’ve adapted the handgrips and modified the seats to suit competitors’ needs.
