Fogo Island Inn

Fogo Island Inn

Joe Batt's Arm, Newfoundland and Labrador
Set on a rocky promontory jutting into the Atlantic, this Todd Saunders-designed hotel is a modern minimalist structure with unparalleled ocean views from the glass-walled dining room (which nabbed third spot on our Canada's Best New Restaurants ranking last year).

What we loved Starting the day with partridgeberry scones, fresh-squeezed orange juice and blueberry tea delivered to our room in a wooden basket.

If you only have one night Hit the rooftop sauna, then sip a Quidi Vidi beer in one of the outdoor hot tubs.

Bonus Sign up for one of the Fogo Island Experiences – from geology walks to art workshops – to see the area like a local.
