Oslo is made for winter activities. Whether you’re a novice tobogganer, an intermediate skier or an expert ice-skater – not to mention a pro at après-ski – Oslo serves up the best of winter minus the extreme weather. Warmer temperatures migrate north from the Gulf Stream up the fjord into Oslo, so from late December to mid-March, temperatures in the city centre rarely dip below -15°C (downright balmy for us Canadians).
