Nineteen good reasons to grab a drink at these Canadian hotels bars.

PEOPLE WATCHING If Hawksworth, in the Rosewood Hotel Georgia, is Vancouver’s who’s-whoosiest restaurant, no wonder its bar is white-hot, too. The Hawksworth Bar & Lounge is regularly packed with French cuffs and shiny blow-dries. Against backlit onyx, bar and lounge manager Brad Stanton oversees a selection of handmade mixes, oak-aged cocktails and craft beers so spectacular, you won’t mind drinking while standing – so long as you still can. Taxi!

Sip Shiso Lindos: shiso-infused triple sec with agave, reposado tequila and fresh lime – in a glass washed with Ardbeg Uigeadail Scotch, rimmed with sea salt and finished with a shiso leaf.

Snack Power-chef David Hawksworth’s spicy Bang Bang Chicken, with compressed honeydew melon, cucumber and peanuts, is a playful wink to nearby Chinatown.

Your take on Clive's (trucker hats? Coors? Wha?!?) is so off base that it makes me wonder if you even had someone go to that establishment - and if the reporting on the rest of the bars is just as inaccurate.

I agree with Dea Bee - what's with the review of Clives? I've been there a number of times and it was chic and refined, with business travellers and well-dressed professionals.
Coors Light ad - what does that even mean? Trucker hat? What?

I'm glad that the Keefer Bar and the Tiki Bar at the Waldorf were included. Both are slightly off the beaten path choices for a great cocktail in Vancouver.
