Among the ancient trees of the Lodhi Gardens, three men practise yoga before the Shisha Gumbad (glass dome) tomb, named for the cobalt-blue tile work that once sparkled in the sun. Constructed in the 1930s as a haven from the capital’s bustle, this 90-acre urban park encompasses monuments and tombs from the Lodhi dynasty of the 15th and 16th centuries.
