Travel Photo of the Month: New Delhi, India

A postcard from Lodhi Gardens in New Delhi.

Three men practise yoga before the Shisha Gumbad, Lodhi Gardens

Among the ancient trees of the Lodhi Gardens, three men practise yoga before the Shisha Gumbad (glass dome) tomb, named for the cobalt-blue tile work that once sparkled in the sun. Constructed in the 1930s as a haven from the capital’s bustle, this 90-acre urban park encompasses monuments and tombs from the Lodhi dynasty of the 15th and 16th centuries.
