The Festive Cocktail That Will Keep You Warm This Holiday Season

Here's a hint: Yuzu and whisky are a match made in heaven.

Like a super-charged lemon that brightens up whisky’s comforting dark notes, yuzu is reviving classic winter drinks. Mixed with Jameson, Campari and honey, it brings an unexpected savoury note to the Clovers in Kyoto cocktail at Calgary’s Shokunin. Bang Bang in Mordialloc, just outside Melbourne, shakes up a rye yuzu sour with a spicy ginger kick. And in Honolulu, Bar Leather Apron adds it to 12-year-old Yamazaki Japanese single malt with honey and a splash of soda in a highball that’ll have you humming “yuzu something to me.”
