Known for his creativity, chef Claudio Aprile has introduced Origin, Colborne Lane's younger and slightly more affordable brother establishment, just a stone's throw from his sibling. With a recently acquired liquor license, there's now nothing lacking from this inspired resto. Taking a cue from international culinary experiences, Aprile's tapas-style menu - including a raw bar featuring, among other selections, oysters and wild striped bass crudo - is beautifully presented. And the kitchen sits smack in the centre of the restaurant, encouraging the already loud and upbeat environment.
