Podcasts Offer Entertainment and Even Educational Content Totally Free
Tuesday, September 1st 2009
I’m a bit of a podcast geek. It amazes me how few people know about the incredible (and free) audio and video podcasts that are available through iTunes. In fact, much of my travel time is spent listening to and watching the educational content from iTunes U. Mobile learning is not just for college students. Anyone can audit courses and “attend” lectures. It used to be said that having a computer was like having constant access to an ever-growing library. iTunes U is like having access to the world’s great universities. So why not mix up your music with some of the world’s great professors? Many of the lectures also make the perfect companion for those red-eye flights if a glass of wine is not your friend of choice.
