Shojo

For South-Asian flair, head to Shojo, where bar manager Marcus Yao gives beachside tiki cocktails a modern revamp. Instead of the usual fake palm trees and cabana kitsch, the dangling light bulbs, exposed brick and a floor-to-ceiling Chinese wall painting provide the setting for a tea party, complete with metal teapots of Cold Tea for Two (oolong-tea-infused vodka with peach pêche de vigne. Watch the bartender chisel baseball-size chunks of cucumber-infused ice for the Reiko Green (gin, green chartreuse, fresh lime juice). The suckling pig bao (served with kimchi and sliced jalapeno on a housemade rice flour bun) will help to soak up the spirits.
