Brooklyn Warehouse

Tucked away in the city’s North End, the food at this cosy neighbourhood bistro is as eclectic as the decor (think brick touches, a wood-panelled bar, a canary yellow doorway and rust sponge-painted walls). The small menu changes daily but always includes a diverse list of appetizers, mains and sharing boards of locally cured meats, Nova Scotia seafood and East Coast cheeses. Extending their local ethos to the wine list, Brooklyn Warehouse features a by-the-glass program of Nova Scotia wines (try a sparkling from Jost Vineyards in Malagash or a white from Tidal Bay, the province’s first wine appellation).
