Michael Mina Pub 1842

Michael Mina Pub 1842 at the MGM Grand is named after the year pilsner was invented, a cheeky way of saying it’s the James Beard award-winning Mina’s take on a traditional brew pub. It really leans more toward a sports bar, with lots of TVs and beers on tap, though the woolly plaid banquettes are a nice British touch. The Peanut Butter Crunch burger sees a glorious medium-rare patty smothered in bacon jam, peanut butter, pimento cheese, Ruffle potato chips and a pickle on top of the poppy seed bun. It’s crazy rich, vaguely Thai and some kind of wonderful.
