McCarran International Airport is located in the city, so it only takes 10 minutes to get to Las Vegas Boulevard or downtown by car. Taxis line up near the exit.
The Las Vegas monorail is a popular means of getting around because it takes you around the Strip. A 3-day pass costs $20, a fraction of the cost of taxis. To get further in the city, buses go by regularly. The fare is $2 on regular vehicles, and $3 on Deuce double-deckers. Pay on the bus or at a ticket vending machine, found throughout the city.
