The Mayflower

With perfect viewing of the rowing competition from the Thames Path, this traditional English pub built in the 18th century is all dark oak beams and wood panelling. A wide range of ales is always on tap, and the upstairs dining room has an impressive selection of cheeses (the Tornegus Caerphilly is washed in Kentish white wine and sprinkled with lemon verbena) to pair with wine (like a bottle of Sancerre La Perrière).
