St. Pancras Renaissance London Hotel

St. Pancras Renaissance London Hotel

Known as the cathedral of train stations, this landmark of Victorian architecture (think spires and gargoyles) has been reborn as one of the city’s most posh addresses. The grand staircase – decorated with restored neo-Gothic murals depicting the Seven Virtues and a domed celestial ceiling – is just as dazzling as the day Queen Victoria opened the hotel. Keep some time for Booking Office, the main hotel bar and restaurant, for a Billy Dawson Punch Rocks – the peel of two lemons, demerara sugar, rum, cognac, Batavia Arrack, porter and nutmeg, served in a handmade copper punch bowl.
