Behind the bar at this cozy crimson-walled 20-seater in the eclectic Petite Patrie neighbourhood, chef David Ferguson (previously of French-Mex inflected Le Jolifou) puts on a Caesar clinic, tossing anchovies, capers, Parmesan and croutons the size of Mega Blocks. Look for foie gras tacos, salt-crusted pork shoulder and bavette on the blackboard and house condiments like corn salsa, pickled cherry bomb peppers and chipotle ketchup on the table.
