This southern Italian-influenced restaurant is named, in part, for chef Emma Cardarelli’s grandmother, Eleanora. The parade of unfussy, seasonally motivated, nonna-style dishes includes homemade pasta dishes like cavatelli in wild boar ragu and tagliatelle with snow crab that demonstrates an irrepressible use of pomodoro. Meats are mandatory, be it guinea hen poised to release its juices inside a crunchy shell of almonds, succulent short ribs lacquered in chilies and rosemary, or a pork chop that wants to rule the world.
