The Grande Dame of Sherbrooke Street – the first Ritz-Carlton in the world – has undergone major renovations and now includes chef Daniel Boulud’s Montreal outpost, Maison Boulud, and a separate, fully kosher kitchen. The grilled octopus followed by the duo de boeuf (braised short rib and perfectly roasted faux-filet) is a ritzy combination, and don’t miss the hotel’s ducklings frolicking in the garden pond (during the summer months.
