The Riding Academy at the Horse Palace

Built in 1931 on the grounds of Exhibition Place, the Horse Palace is an homage to Art Deco architecture – note the equine friezes in the masonry. With hundreds of stalls on two floors, it’s still considered one of the best riding facilities in the country. Under the vaulted glass ceiling, learn the walk, trot and canter gaits (the space is too tight for a gallop).
