Japanese tapas. Lots of booze. And don’t be surprised if your server arrives with your mackerel while carrying a blowtorch. One of the city’s sexiest rooms is also one of its most boisterous, promising an evening of ice-cold sake (served up in frozen bamboo trunks) and bite-size goodness like the ever-popular ebi mayo (tempura prawns tossed in a spicy mayonnaise sauce) or karaage (deep-fried boneless chicken with soy ginger sauce).
