enRoute Why does Aeroplan work for you?

Wendy Hu I’m constantly traveling for work and pleasure with my company, Nomadic Fare. I was looking for a new travel rewards credit card and the Chase Aeroplan Card was a great fit. The bonus points and vast partner airline network help me maximize my points.

ER How do you earn most of your Aeroplan points?

WH I’m a big foodie, so I love trying out restaurants. I get three times the points at restaurants on my Chase Aeroplan Card, so they add up quickly!

ER What is your go-to Aeroplan tip?

WH Take advantage of Aeroplan’s more unique travel options, like their stopover feature, which allows you to add a second destination to an itinerary outside North America for only 5,000 points. You can stay between 24 hours and 45 days. That’s a pretty incredible benefit if you’re looking to visit a few places within one trip.

ER What is your favorite city for dining?

WH My obvious answer would be New York City, where you have this beautiful melting pot of international food, but a lesser-known city for that is Paris! Whenever I’m there, I go for Thai food at Ayothaya, Asian beef noodle soup at Crazy Noodles, and crème brûlée boba tea at Xing Fu Tang.

ER Window or aisle seat?

WH Window seat! I usually spend at least half of my flight staring out the windows. Recently I was on a flight that flew over the snow-covered Swiss Alps. I was glued to the window.
