enRoute Tell us about your work for Prince’s Trust Canada.

Farah Mohamed Prince’s Trust Canada is the flagship charity of Charles III, King of the United Kingdom. We partner with the private sector, social enterprises, community organizations and government agencies to invest in youth as a central means of advancing sustainability and economic and social well-being.

ER What was your most recent Aeroplan redemption?

FM I recently gifted my parents points for a trip to Lisbon, Portugal, for my dad’s family reunion. When they boarded, instead of turning right toward economy class, my points allowed them to turn left and fly business class.

ER Do you have a dream destination?

FM India. I was there for an event where I was a panellist and had the opportunity to meet former president Barack Obama in the green room (pinch-me moment). Sadly, I was only there for 48 hours, so I left with one samosa, one chai and a serious case of return envy.

ER What is your most frequent destination for work?

FM In previous roles, it was as different as New York or New Delhi. With this role, I travel across the pond to London. In the coming years, I hope to travel more to visit our programs and work on the ground in Calgary, Halifax, Ottawa, Vancouver, and other communities across the country.

ER How do you earn most of your Aeroplan points?

FM Economic development (read: shopping and travelling).

ER Why does Aeroplan work for you?

FM It takes me almost anywhere and everywhere I want to go. I have been to Turkey, Italy, France, Greece, Croatia and so many other places. Aeroplan was a part of many of those journeys for work and for leisure.
