Postcard from Big Sur, California

Big Sur, Califonia

For a new perspective on the waves at Big Sur, beach bums should head to Molera Point. From the well-weathered Cooper Cabin – built in the early 1860s, this redwood structure is the oldest still standing in the area – follow the looping trail through a blue gum eucalyptus grove until it forks right. At the mouth of the river, watch surfers and sea lions enjoy the swell.
