Below are Scott’s tips on how to earn points quicker and make the most out of your Aeroplan membership.

  • Unlock the full potential of the program with an Aeroplan credit card. Earn points quicker on everyday purchases you make with the card, earn twice when you shop through the Aeroplan eStore, and earn up to 3x the points on Air Canada purchases. Plus, some cards offer exclusive benefits to upgrade your travel experience, like first free checked bags on Air Canada flights and Maple Leaf lounge access. And finally, our most recent benefit to all Aeroplan credit card holders: For every four–night consecutive hotel stay booked with points through our HotelSavers platform, you’ll get a free night – essentially making your 4th night free.

  • Make sure to input your member number every time you book with Air Canada. Not only will you earn points on every flight, but you’ll also get free global Wi–Fi texting aboard all Air Canada flights that have Wi–Fi capability – allowing you to stay connected with your loved ones throughout your journey.

  • Redeem points on travel and beyond. Take off with extras and seat upgrades, save up to 30% on hotel stays with HotelSavers partner hotels and redeem points on over 2,000 products and gift cards at the eStore.

  • Keep an eye out for offers. Some promotions are only available in points. Plus, credit card holders get preferred pricing on flight rewards and access to exclusive promotions.

Make the Aeroplan eStore Your Online Shopping Destination

  • Earn all the time. Receive at least 1 point per $1 spent. Just log into the eStore and select across the 250+ retailers to be redirected to their site.

  • Get extras with Aeroplan Elite Status. You will get an extra 2 points per $1 spent when you start shopping on the eStore.

  • Redeem points. Use your points on the eStore to get a merchandise product or a gift card – physical or digital, it’s your choice.
