Perched on the southernmost tip of the Baja California peninsula, Nobu Hotel Los Cabos is the first Mexican property by Nobu Hospitality, a brand spearheaded by chef Nobu Matsuhisa, actor Robert De Niro and film producer Meir Teper. But the allure of the luxury resort extends beyond its celebrity founders.
Upon arrival, guests are greeted by a triumvirate of stone sculptures in a courtyard that opens onto the Pacific Ocean. Taking cues from Nobu’s Japanese roots, the hotel’s minimalist architecture resonates through the Zen rock garden, while fire and water features symbolize elemental balance. Local Cabo stone and thoughtfully planted agave and cardon cacti ground the design within the surrounding Baja California desert.
